In case you haven’t heard, startups in the Midwest are becoming a pretty big deal. As a result, Dayton, Ohio is holding its first ever “Startup Week” this week.
From September 12-16, there will be over 70 sessions from other business owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and more. Best of all…
Crazy, right? Even though it’s already started, it’s not too late to sign up and go to the remaining sessions.
Things kicked off yesterday with some amazing speakers and session, and they’ll continue through the rest of the week. Some example sessions include:
- Free Tools Your Startup Should be Using
- Legal Boot Camp
- How Creative Culture Improves Business Success
- Crowdfunding 101
- Marketing on a Shoestring Budget
- And more!
You don’t want to miss this. We didn’t.
That’s why we’re there
You can find Launch Runner’s very own Dana Akers there. He looks a lot like this:
But with some longer (and radder) slicked back hair on top. Say “hi”, and he’ll certainly say hi back. He’ll probably also tell you a joke or two. Launch Runner is not legally responsible for whether or not these jokes are actually funny.
But what if I don’t live in Dayton?
Startup Week is actually a nationwide program overseen by Techstars and coordinated by local startups and entrepreneurs. If you live in or around a city with an active entrepreneurial community, it’s likely there’s a startup week near you!
