You may quickly discover some people have said some not-so-nice things about you. Statistically speaking, people are more likely to share a bad experience than a good one. Get Positive Reviews
The hard truth is, most of your satisfied customers aren’t going to go and review your business automatically. It’s not that they don’t want to. They just don’t think about. Or they forget.
That means, if you really want to boost your online reputation, you’ll need to take a more hands on approach. Reach out to your top clients with some links to places they can leave reviews.
If you have a satisfied customer in your store/shop/office, ask them if they’ll quick sit down at a computer or pull their phone out and give you a review on the spot.
Try placing a sign by your front desk, encouraging people to leave reviews.
Some businesses even offer discounts, coupons, or rewards for reviews. We’re not saying you should bribe people…but adding some incentive never hurts.
What About the Negative Reviews?
Unfortunately, trying to remove negative reviews from anywhere can be a difficult, and often impossible task. If you feel a review is completely off-based or was left by someone you’ve never done business with, you can flag or report it.
From there, it’s up to the discretion of the review moderators.
Depending on where the review was left, you might be able to leave a comment, apologizing to the person for their experience and offering a way to make it right.
